Star SP700 Impact Printer Setup on Android

Overview 


Star SP700 is an impact (non-thermal) printer. It requires 76mm non-thermal paper roll. It is highly recommended to utilize SP700 as kitchen printer, as it is splash and heat resistant; also the printer makes sound notification when printing a receipt.

Connecting Star SP100 LAN Printer to Android

1. On the back of the printer, input the printer power source cord and plug it into to an outlet.
2. Plug an ethernet cable into the Ethernet port on the printer. Plug the other end into a LAN port on the router.
3. Turn printer on by pushing down power button.
4. Connect your Android device to the same network as the printer is connected to. 

 

Setting Up Star TSP100 LAN on POS

1. Log in to POS.

2. In the left navigation menu, tap on Settings--->Printer Setup

3. On Printer Settings screen, tap Search for printer on the top right. 

4. The Star SP700 printer should show up under both Receipt Printers and Kitchen Printers. Check off the box(es) of whichever one(s) you would like to set up your printer to print.

Note: For kitchen receipts to print, you must select the Kitchen Receipt option in the Receipt tab of your Back Office Store Settings. 

5. Choose either 76mm as the paper width for both printer types.

6. The option Print Test Page will appear to the right of the printer. Tap it to print a test page to ensure that the printer is set up properly.

7. Confirm your printer settings by tapping the DONE button. The printer should now be set up to work on your tablet.
