Setting Up Terminal on POS

Overview

  • You can process credit card transactions on eHopper with a Pax, Djavoo, ChargeAnywhere or Poynt terminal. 
  • You have to first set up the terminal in Back Office. For Pax, you have to add terminal's serial number in POS. For Poynt, you don't have to do anything in POS.
  • You can only use terminals on eHopper within US and Canada, and it is only available for paid software packages. Otherwise, you can use external terminals for credit card payments.

 

Requirements

  • Must have a paid software package to use a terminal on eHopper POS (starting with Essential Plus).

 

Prerequisites

1. In Back Office, go to Settings--->Apps--->App Directory---> make sure Credit/Debit POS integration App is installed.

 

2. Go to Settings--->Store Settings--->select your store.

3. Click on the Payment Gateway tab.


4. Select PAX if using PAX terminal;
Poynt if using POS on Poynt Terminal;
Semi-Poynt if using a Poynt as a semi-integrated terminal;
Dejavoo for Dejavoo Z1/Z11 terminals;
ChargeAnywhere for Q1/Q2 terminals in the Payment Gateway drop-down menu.

5. Click the Done button.


6. Synchronize POS app.

 

Instructions

Setting up PAX on Windows/Android Device

1. In POS, go to Settings--->Terminal Setup--->click Add Terminal button 


2. Input the Serial Number of the PAX Terminal and click Submit 

3. Click Done on the Terminal Setup screen

 

Setting up Dejavoo Terminal 

1. Login to POS and go to Settings--->Terminal Setup--->click Add Terminal button


2.  Enter the terminal's RegisterId and AuthKey.

3.  Select the Submit button.


Setting up Poynt Terminal

  • Other than what is listed in the Prerequisites at the beginning of this article, there is nothing you have to do to set up the Poynt terminal on eHopper in case you are using POS app on Poynt.
