In the POS system, Prepaid refers to transactions where customers pay in advance for goods or services. It could be used as a Gift Card.
Prepaid: The merchant manually enters the prepaid code, compatible with physical prepaid cards.
ePrepaid: A virtual prepaid code is automatically generated, functioning like a digital gift card.

Create Prepaid or ePrepaid Items:
Important:
Ordering is currently not supported for Prepaid or ePrepaid items.
These products cannot be found in PO receiving and Inventory Adjustments.
Prepaid and ePrepaid items are not available for product import.
Prepaid or ePrepaid items don't show in the Product Mix Report.
Go to POS → Add Prepaid product to cart.
Complete the purchase using Cash, Credit/Debit Card, or External payment.
The Prepaid Insurance screen appears.
Enter or scan by barcode scanner the 16-digit prepaid code.
Go to POS → Add ePrepaid product to cart.
Complete the purchase using Cash, Credit/Debit Card, or External payment.
Complete the sale.
A prepaid code is automatically generated.
The code can be printed or emailed to the customer.
Examples of printed ePrepaid receipts are shown below:
Navigate to BO → Apps → Prepaid Program to configure:
Footer and name on ePrepaid receipts.
Expiration settings: Enable expiration and set the expiration range.
POS:
Navigate to ☰ → Prepaid → Scan or manually enter the prepaid or ePrepaid code.
Back Office (BO):
Go to Reporting → Prepaid Report:
Select a time range and press Search.
To view a specific card's details, scan or enter the full prepaid code.
Quantity cannot be changed: To sell multiple Prepaids, add each separately to the shopping cart.
Refund/Void: Requires entering the prepaid/ePrepaid code. Balance will be returned to the card.
Prepaid as a payment method:
Add products to the cart.
Go to All payments → Prepaid.
Enter or scan the prepaid code.
Tips: Supported for Prepaid payments (same as Cash/CC).
Two new permissions have been introduced in the Back Office → Employees → Permissions:
Allow to sell prepaid card – Not active by default.
Allow prepaid reprint – Not active by default.
