eHopper Release - 0.28.2

  1. Integration with Star Micronics SP700 Impact Receipt Printer

This printer is the first impact (non-thermal) printer integrated with eHopper POS on Android and Windows devices. It is highly recommended to utilize SP700 as kitchen printer, as it is splash and heat resistant; also the printer makes sound notification when printing a receipt.
It has to be connected to a network via ethernet cable. Connects to POS similar to Star TSP100 LAN printer. Driver for Windows: https://starmicronics.com/support/download/starprnt-intelligence-software-full/
Please note that the printer requires 76mm non-thermal paper roll.


Improvements

2. Salesperson/Server Employee Role Permissions

Previously it was possible for salesperson/server role employees to open saved orders and delete items one by one without the system asking for manager approval.
We have added an option to enable or disable deleting items from saved orders for salesperson/server role employees. Now if this permission is disabled, POS app will ask for manager PIN upon every attempt to delete items from saved orders.

3. EBT Options on X/Z Reports

Now both EBT Cash Benefit and EBT Food Stamp totals are printed on X and Z reports.

4. Tax Reports Older than One Year

Now it is possible to generate and export tax reports for any time range. Customers can view tax reports for the whole time that they are using our POS.

 

Fixes

5. Tips report

Tips report was undergoing minor issues. The report can be viewed in Back Office now, and exported as an Excel file.

6. Modifiers

Modifiers can be created, edited, assigned to inventory products without any data loss.

7. Taxes

Taxes that are not assigned to products, categories and stores, and are not parts of combined taxes, can be deactivated in Tax Manager in BO, and hidden from the list of active taxes.

8. Knowledge Base Links in Back Office

The links in BO that were leading to old Knowledge Base were replaced with correct ones.

9. Bluetooth Printers

Fix for Bluetooth printers connected to POS on Android devices with Android OS 12+ was deployed.
